Measuring Your Head for a Custom Helmet
To ensure a perfect fit for your 3D-printed helmet, it's essential to accurately measure your head circumference. Here's a simple method:
- Gather a soft measuring tape.
- Wrap the tape around your head, just above your eyebrows and ears.
- Make sure the tape is snug but not too tight.
- Note the measurement in centimeters or inches.
Once you have your head circumference, you can use it as a reference when designing or scaling your 3D model to achieve the ideal fit.
To confirm the scale of the helmet you can add a primitive shape in the Slicer and scale it to your measurement to check the inside diameter of the helmet.
