My wife has gotten into drawing/painting. After reading a posts about view finders/isolaters she asked if I could design/print one. I did a quick search for what they were and found a few different styles. This style looked like it was probably the best for what she does. Its small, lightweight, and can fit in with her small travel sketch bag.
I printed the top and bottom with the faces down, on a Prusa Satin sheet, and super glued the pieces together. Becareful with how much super glue you use so it doesn't overflow and sticks the slider.
Print parameters that I used:
- Hatchbox Grey PLA for the filament
- 0.4mm nozzle
- variable layer height
- 2 perimeters
- 100% infill
