This is the planet gear carrier for a 2007 Avalanche with electric seat controls. The early 2000's GM vehicles with electric seats had a common issue with this and the main ring gear breaking. I had issue with my Avy and have been looking for replacement gears for over a couple weeks and haven't been able to find anything except a complete lumber mechanism replacement. Needless to say a $300 mechanism is well worth the attempt to make this carrier. Currently I am using this gear in my vehicle.
It was printed from PLA+ with:
25% infill
4 outter walls
4 tops
4 bottoms.
Print with the 3 gear pins on the bed (see attached photo orient as carrier on left)
Support from bed only
If you print this carrier take special notice that the encoder that connects to it has different sized fingers. You have to align the carrier to the proper encoder fingers when installing it or you risk damage to the encoder.
