This is a base designed to hold a regular old 6" Ceramic tile with a snap-in fit for painting! It has a brush holder to lean your brushes against as well as a paint holder, designed to hold Citadel Colour paints, or any similarly sized paint bottles. If you don't use those paints however, I have included a model without the holder as well!
It is designed to use the cheapest standard white ceramic tile found at your local hardware store. Make sure it has the grout spacers on the sides (Check Photo)! If it doesn't, it's not a big deal, you just may need to glue the tile in place with some kind of adhesive. If your tile has trouble fitting, please comment and let me know, I may need to tweak the tolerance since tile tolerances aren't super tight.
To install the tile, insert the side against the brush holder first, then slowly work your way around until it snaps all the way in. Don't be afraid to use a little force!
There are multiple variants, as follows:
6" Tile Palette: Base Model
Loose": Slightly looser to make it easier to snap in the tile
No Feet: Plain, flat base with no holes for feet
No Paint Holder: Plain base without the top paint holder
Flipped: A flipped palette with the brush holder on the opposite side
I have uploaded them as .step files, please feel free to remix it however you'd like!
