This was inspired by https://www.printables.com/model/381177-66-16cm-crochet-square and https://www.printables.com/model/381179-12-crochet-square but was completely developed from scratch by me in OpenSCAD as a parametric model. It uses the same size holes so the pins from their designs work. My relatives who tat and crochet liked the fact that the design wasn't a regular grid, but had the angular rays coming out from the center. The STL is for a 8.75" square with 4mm peg holes, which was about the biggest I could print on my Q1 Pro.
This was printed in Sunlu PLA, 3 walls, 15% infill. I may print it again with just 2 walls to speed it up a bit. I am struggling a little with corners lifting on my print, but it didn't curl enough to make it unusable.
Added the OpenSCAD file.
