This scale is inexpensive ~$10 or so and measures to 0.01 grams.
Requires basic soldering skills (unsolder battery terminals, extend power wires, extend load cell wires)
This model is very resourceful and uses lots of the original components from the original scale, including several fasteners, battery terminals, and the battery cover.
