This mount was made out of PETG-CF more as an experiment in layer adhesion. It could be made of other materials. Modeled wall-side down, this was printed that way too. All gravitational shear forces would be acting on the layer boundaries. This propeller isn't that heavy but I haven't had any layer failures. I do not have any data on heavier propellers. Fits a model 22008-1 made by US Propellers, Inc. This is a wooden target drone propeller from ca. 1940.
Printer:
Neptune 4 Plus
Filament:
Polymaker PETG-CF
Top/Bottom/Walls:
6
Infill:
45%, gyroid. Did not test with other infill types.
Hardware:
Accepts a screw with a major diameter of ≤3/16". Driving a screw of this size can/will deform it. Increase wall count and infill to combat it or drive it gently.
