This adapter allows a high-capacity battery, such as f.e. Li-Poly 4000 mAh, to be connected to a DualShock 4 controller. The high-capacity battery provides extended gameplay for several days. Since the battery cannot fit inside the controller’s casing, the adapter is designed to hold the battery externally without interfering with the controller’s usability. The adapter with connected battery, acts also as controller stand.
The adapter requires a hole to be drilled in the bottom controller casing, to put wires through. It also needs the little usb board lifted before the process, and screwing it back with wires under. Li-Poly battery can be connected to the controller like original one, but with high capacity, the controller will last much longer.
