This is my take on a key for my bearvault cannister. This model has an easy attachment point to the canister for simpler removal (especially in the cold), a vertical wall for stability that is contoured to the curvature of the cannister, and a 5mm hoop to attach the key the cannister, if wanted.
Hope this helps your hikes and makes your food access that much easier.
Recommend printing with additional parameters for strength.
