I get busy throughout the day, but sometimes forget when I brewed my coffee or tea. I designed this simple timer/counter in Tinkercad to know approximately when I last brewed it (to the last hour or so). It certainly could be more refined with more digits or adding AM or PM, but it works for what I needed it for. The cap has ridges to help spin it on the base.
Print the cap top down and then apply your label (Coffee and Tea labels included here, or whatever text you want displayed). The base should be printed with the numbers oriented at the top. Once you've applied your multi-color painting, send it to your printer and press the pieces together until the guide pin pokes through the back of the base. I used a brief touch of my soldering iron to keep the guide pin secure. You may find you need to use a screw or another method to secure the cap to the base.
Included in the files are a cap, base, numbers 1-12 in a circle, the labels, and a holder which I used to mount to my coffee machine with half of a 3M Command Strip.
