This redesigned Pioreactor is tailored for enhanced spectroscopy and fluorescence applications. It features three lateral holes on each side to accommodate 1.5 mm plastic optical fibers for excitation. At a 90° angle to the excitation fibers, an additional opening on the same horizontal plane is provided for connecting a collection optical fiber or a photodetector. This opening includes a narrow slot for fitting an optical filter in front of the fiber or photodetector. Additionally, the upper section includes two new supports for mounting high-power LEDs, which provide extra illumination for the vial. This design increases the versatility and functionality of the Pioreactor system for advanced optical experiments.
