I had issues with installing remote topcap on my Fox
Later i found manual how to do it (https://tech.ridefox.com/bike/service-procedures/851/2018-fit4-remote-topcap-interface-part-installation), and Fox recommended to use special tool 803-01-209
I quickly made my own tool, it not convenient as original Fox, but i could install topcap with needed preload force, and my remote its working as expected
