There's another thing designed by Steven0110g (thing 2199693), but his design inserts inside the vacuum port and therefore reduces the airflow. Additionally his design doesn't fit my VacMaster.
The STL file exported from the FreeCAD design fits the vacuum hose of a VacMaster. To adjust the design to fit your specific vacuum cleaner model, see the CAD section below.

Print with the locking slots facing the print bed (i.e. upside down).
Designed with FreeCAD version 0.17 rev. 13387 (daily builds).
Everything is parametrizable using spreadsheet and aliases, the FreeCAD sources are attached - just in case you'd like to adapt the design to fit your ShopVac-clone.
The spreadsheet parameters of interest are:
vac hose len: length of the vacuum hose terminal
vac hose inner diameter: inner diameter of your vacuum hose (if you'd like to fit it around your hose you have to take the wall thickness into account)
wall thickness: thickness of all walls
All units are in mm.
