I did not found an elegant multiMAUS holder, matching my requirements, so I designed my own one using FreeCAD - et voilà!
- Slim, elegant design
- Invisible fixation
- Removable (allows to easily remove it while moving around the layout)
Prints without supports, low material usage (about 50g, about 3h print time).
I printed it in Prusament PETG (less brittle and better UV stability than PLA) with 0.2mm layer height.
You need to print two pieces:
- The MMHolderMountingPlateM5
This is mounted (e.g. to the layout) using two M5 countersunk head screws (or equivalent countersunk head diameter wood screw) - The MMHolder
It is then slid on the mounted MMHolderMountingPlateM5
I added a generic MMHolderMountingPlateGeneric (without holes) as a STEP file in case you want to use a different way of fixation.
Enjoy, happy printing (and have a safe train journey)
