This is a simple appliance that you stick on a standard broomstick (it fits the conical screw head of most European brooms). It allows you to manipulate theater lights and specifically barn doors attached to flood lights.

I would recommend to use a telescope broomstick for more flexibility.

The V-shape is meant to allow very fine adjustments by carefully rotating it, while the “hook" allows you to catch onto barn doors to pull them towards you.

Printing

While it can be printed with PLA, it is better to use PETG or another filament that is more resistant to heat than PLA - even if you use LED lights, as even LED stage lights do get rather warm.

It requires supports while printing. The inside of the conical screw does not have to be perfect after cleaning away the supports - it will still fit and hold fine as long as you clean away all protrusions.

Print time on an MK4 using PETG: ca. 2h
