I own a digital scale for cooking, and I was thinking I could use it to weigh my filament rolls to keep track of the amount of filament I have on hand. I tried just putting the roll on the scale, but it covered the display, or if it was on the edges, it didn't sit still.
So, I came up with this model, which allows you to weigh your filament on a small footprint digital scale. It's a quick print on a P1P, and only uses about 50 grams of filament, but it comes in handy.
I am including the Fusion file, if you want to make changes to the model, the difference in versions is I parameterized the model to make it easier to change it.
UPDATE:
I modified the cradle so it's a little wider, it has two feet instead of a base and it has a lip on the back. It is Weighing Cradle v9. It still takes about 50 grams of filament.
