My wife wanted one of those things to make seedling pots from newspaper so she can transplant her seedlings directly without risking root shock.
We could have bought one but why do that when 30 mins in CAD and a few hours printing meant we had one ready to go!
This should be plenty strong enough for use so print however you see fit. I used ABS and gave the top and bottom extra layers as they will take the most force but really it shouldn't be getting to much stress.
I used a brim for the Former and organic tree supports however I think this might've been overkill. If you feel like risk taking, it'll probably print without either.
It's simple to use, easy to print, and exactly what was needed.
To use roll a strip of newspaper around the former making sure to leave enough overhang to fold into the bottom. This needs to be more that half the diameter of the former.
Then when you've folded this inward a little just press the whole thing into the base to form the bottom of the pot.
When it comes time to transplant just put the whole pot in the soil and job is done!
