I'm posting this as an original model, but its really an influence from many different hold down methods, one being the Inventables wood hold downs I bought with my X-Carve years ago. This model is designed to hold the work edge down with a small foot print. The design is heavy enough to sustain a decent amount of downward force. The butt end is wide enough to straddle a t-track, and is rounded, so that the hold down angle has no impact. The hold down end is beveled on top to offer more clearance. Finally, the inside corner of the contact end has an inside radius to mitigate corner cracking. Included is a simple FreeCAD file that has variables set up for length;width;height so you can make your own size.
Cheers
