A bit different than my usual models.
I bought a NIDEC 48704R130 DC12-24V 48W electromotor from AE. Usually this belongs in an air filter, but once I took mine apart I realized its just a nice centrifugal fan. Ordered a similar electromotor online and here we are.
Quite an impressive output, would upload a vid if I could. There is a space for the control board you can order with it. Plans are to later use it to vent air from enclosure to outside or through filters.
More pictures will follow, once I design hose attachments or anything I will upload those too.
EDIT:
1.1 - M3 holes reduced in size so bolts grip to printed surface better. Increased size of bottom hole of PCB area so cable fits through the box.
CAUTION:
(CURRENT)
There is a 0.5mm gap between the fan and top, cool the print down entirely before removing it from the print bed. If the fan warps the tolerance is not sufficient and will cause a good amount of sound.
I used the thick bridges in orca, that helped a lot with the fan bridges which can be very long, but should not requre support as this would be very difficult to remove
(OLD)
This project is not perfect, holes were designed for nuts, however M3 nuts dont fit, but the print imperfections these holes cause M3 bolts to grip fine. All holes fit M3 bolts I think there are around 12 in total.
