This is designed to use ¼" shank bits by epoxy gluing them into the handle.  You can print a bunch of them and glue in different types and sizes of bits to each one, or do what I did and print just one and glue in a magnetic bit holder.

The cavity in the handle is designed in a way where you can drip a bunch of epoxy into it, stab in the bit shank, and wipe away the excess epoxy.  There are relief channels that allow the excess epoxy to flow out.

Print settings:

  • .45 extrusion width (.4 nozzle)
  • 4 walls
  • 30% infill
  • Whatever layer height you want
  • Enough top and bottom layers to be at least 1mm thick

Print the handles upright.  No supports needed.  You'll want GOOD bed adhesion or the standard length handle may get knocked over while printing.
