Pretty quick design using bearings, bolts and a piece of closet rod dowel I had laying about. Works very well to massage the arch area of your feet. Doesn't take up much space under a desk and if you print the base upside down (intended) the stair step effect that results gives grip when used on low pile carpet.

I printed the 3 “frame” parts with ABS because that was the only white color filament I had. The I.D. of the TPU sleeve that fits over the dowel is the same as the O.D. of the dowel so I had to use a mallet and some 1 ¼" schedule 40 drain pipe I had (also laying around) to gently beat it into position. Being that it's so snug a fit, there was no need for glue or any other forms of attachment.

If I remember correctly, the white ABS was eSun ABS+ (didn't like it too much)
The TPU was Iron Blue SpiderMaker SpiderFlex Matte Finish Flexible TPE 3D Printing Filament - Shore 75A, which was a little more flexible than the normal Shore 90A and feels very soft to the touch.

The non-printed parts are:

  • M8 x 40mm Socket Head x4
  • M5 x 15mm Flat Head x2
  • M5 x 20mm Flat Head x2
  • M5 x 25mm Flat Head x2
  • 608xx Ball Bearings x8 (I had 608zz bearings on hand, but any style 608 bearings should do)
  • 198mm long  x  28mm (1-1/8") diameter closet rod dowel
  • **adhesive grip tape for the base, purchased but I never used it

No supports were needed
