It's a unique ring box, that now looks like a companion cube from portal!

Printing

Each side should be printed 3 times.
Print at a 0.1mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle on the flat side, and enable supports for the back panels.
To color the companion cube, either use AMS / MMU or print it in white, then paint the box using acrylic colors.
Try to avoid elephant's foot, because it will make your joints sit at funny angles and the final box won't look as nice.

Assembly

Each joint should have a M2 x 10mm socket cap screw (longer / shorter screws could may also work) and 3 washers (about 1.8mm total thickness for a stack of washers, mine were about 0.6mm each). In total, for one box you need 6 screws and 18 washers.
Also, the screws are screwed directly into plastic. Because of this, you should be careful when assembling the box to not overtighten the screws as that might strip the plastic inside each hole. If the box doesn't move smoothly try loosening each screw a bit.
For the fabric inlay, I used this foam for the padding and this fabric for the cover. I know that the sizes and the amount of the foam and fabric are a lot more than needed but I didn’t had cheaper options available for less material.
