The original model was already great, but I wanted to improve the drawer system further. I redesigned the drawers to print the handle separately, adding a custom interlocking system for easy attachment (glue recommended for extra security). Additionally, I reduced the connector joints by 1mm in thickness to ensure a better fit with the connectors.
These changes improve assembly flexibility and usability while maintaining full compatibility with the original design.
I printed the parts using eSun modified PLA with the 0.25 Fast preset on my Prusa MK4S. For the connector caps, I used FLEX (TPU V2) to achieve a secure and easy fit, placing one cap in the front and one in the back per rail.
