I made this to be able to doublesided tape this to the back of an iPad Coved so i could connect a neckband to it så i can carry my ipad for drawings while rigging Lights and video at events and conserts.
I use a thin nylon string though the hole and make a knot. Then i bought some small carabiner so be able to hook onto a guitar strap.
