This design is an experiment both in CAD and in printing the CAD design (see below for more information on the special printing configuration). I plan to use this design (or possibly a variation of it) on a future print I am planning, but this turned out so well (if I do say so myself!) that I thought I would share it now.

NOTE : This print will not “stand up” on it's own unless the base is fastened down. I did not include an integral base as that will be part of the future design.
Print Instructions
Print this in PLA using the 3mf or gcode files provided. I recommend using a brim for good bed adhesion. Additional notes:
- There are two printable versions :
- Trunk is smooth
- Trunk has fuzzy skin (via height range customization)
- The leaves are printed in a second color via filament switching
The two photos show the two different versions. Unfortunately it is difficult to see the differences in the photos, but with the actual prints the smooth version appears a bit shiny, while the fuzzy version looks rougher.
