These parts were heavily either heavily inspired or directly taken from the whopping voron project.
To attach you will need:
- 2 m3 heat set inserts
- 2 m3x20mm cap head bolts
- 2 m3x8mm cap head bolt
- 2 m3 t-nuts
- 1 m2x2 heatset insert or superglue
- A pcb klicky kit ( I'm using the BTT kit)
- JST 1.25mm Connector kit (I highly recommend getting one with some precrimped wires)
Directions:
- Install m3 heat set inserts into frame_mount
- Install m2 heat set insert into Probe Dock (or just glue a magnet in)
- install 6 m2x4 heat inserts from kit into toolhead_mount and pcb_klicky
- Attach kit magnets with screws
- build your wire harness. One side will use JST 1.25mm connections, the other will use the pins in the kit (JST-XH 2.54mm in case you screw up the crimping)
- Attach the toolhead mount to the SV08 carriage using the existing screws from the inducive sensor and the bolt just under the toolhead magnet
- Attach the Probe Dock to the frame_mount with m3x20 bolts.
- Attach the frame_mount to the back gantry using the 8mm m3 and t-nuts
The toolhead shroud will not longer fit. Before this modification, I was using the mini-light house cover and I just dremeled off the pieces that were interferring with the toolhead_mount.
My klipper macros are a bit of a mess right now, they work, but there is a lot of redundant moves. If there is interest, I'll post them once they are cleaned up.
