I've included two versions of the model. I typically use these in 1020 trays, so I've sized the defaults to fit 4 across and 3 across in the trays. I've also included the f3d file that I used to create them, so that you can customize them to whatever your personal use-case is. Just open the parameters menu and tweak the favorite values until they're what you're looking for. Go nuts, and show me your plants!
I previously had printed these in PLA, but now recommend either PETG or another more durable material. I've had a number of my PLA pots crack during use, and while none have fully failed yet, I suspect it's an inevitability, given the constant UV exposure they receive from my grow lights and proximity to moisture. As stated, I've switched almost exclusively to PETG for these, though I plan to also test ASA and ABS once I get my Mk4s converted to a core 1 later this year. I'd be curious to know your results, if you attempt to use any other more exotic materials!
4/17/25 Edit: I've deprecated the previous project file and its generated models and provided updated copies. This was to address several issues - namely that increasing the radial slits didn't take into account the distance between them at the base. As a result, increasing it too high or making pots that were too small could result in a pot that was unable to print, or would print very poorly. I've tested this current revision up to an absurd 50 cuts and it scales just fine, so this should no longer be an issue! I plan to use these pots going forward for my plants, though I'm constantly tweaking and improving things, so keep an eye out for upgrades.
