Baroque Chess, also known as Ultima, is a chess variant invented by Robert Abbott in 1962. It follows standard chess's queen and rook movement, but introduces unique capturing mechanics for each piece, making it a game of tactical ingenuity. It is popular in Cambridge.

For print and play this piece set, you will need:

  • x8 pincers
  • x1 king
  • x2 chameleons
  • x2 long-leapers
  • x1 coordinator
  • x1 immobilizer
  • x1 withdrawer
  • a standard chessboard

Some pieces, like long-leaper, coordinator and chamaleon, will need supports. Coordinator could need manually painted supports.

The .3mf contains all the pieces, including manually painted supports, but is programed for having pauses (so, you can change the colour at “x” layers). To preventing this, remove the pauses before printing.
