Hello everyone 🙋♂
This project is a sliding door latch that uses a hemp cord. It is designed to prevent my cat from attempting to access the sex-toys door. It is very sturdy, especially when printed in PETG, but it also works very well with PLA.
The three components are:
1. Bolt 🔩 – The pin that locks the mechanism and has a hole to allow the hemp cord to pass through. (whit optional secure hole)
2. Wall Side – The piece that holds the bolt in place.
3. Door Side – A piece with a hole that allows the hemp cord to pass through
I printed this product with 4 layers and 15% infill.
