This one is designed for the bronco/defender style chassis. I will update later with the option to use it on a high trail later on.

Assembly for the base frame is coded with colors:

  • Yellow = M2.5 x 15mm, total 4 pieces
  • Green = M2 x 8mm, total 10 pieces
  • Blue = M2.5 x 8mm, total 4 pieces
  • Red = m1.4 x 6mm, total 6 pieces

To secure the two M2 x 8mm screws that hold the front frame and back together that are directly above the yellow skid plate screws use two M2 nuts. If you use the battery tray i recommend securing it to the skid plate of your choice using M2 x 6mm screws. I would not go longer than 7mm.

Note: if you wish to install the optional rock sliders i recommend replacing the yellow screws with M2.5 x 16mm.

The other parts are to replace the stock trx4m parts. Included is bumper deletes, the brackets that space that allow the body to mount. There is an un-tested skid plate as well.

Below is how the frame should look assembled. notice the brackets in the front and back are not identical. the back have two m 1.4 holes while the front have one. the two stand off spacers are different sized. the longer one goes on the back. The esc plate in the back is just a friction fit. note that the front frame pieces are not identical. they are mirrored. there is a cut out for the rear frame. the front frames are to be on the inside of the rear frames.
