Replacement scroll wheel for a Glorious Model O mouse. Might not work with the wireless model because the internals are quite different.

I included the f3d project file in case any adjustments need to be made.

Axle

The axle was printed with a 0.2mm nozzle, 0.12mm layer height, a brim and oriented as shown in one of the pictures. I also added a tiny 2 wall thick support for the 90 degree overhang.

Wheel

The wheel can be printed with a larger nozzle, mine was printed with 0.6mm and 0.2mm layer height.

Assembly

  1. Push the axle through the hole in the wheel, thinner end first.
  2. Push the wider end of the axle against a table and press down on the wheel.
  3. Trim 1-2mm off the wider end of the axle with some side cutters to prevent the scroll wheel from interfering with the right click action.

Widening the hole in the wheel might be required during assembly, for example by scraping a tiny bit off with an exacto knife.

Remove the mouse pcb to install the new wheel, carefully pushing the thin axle through the encoder hole.
