This simple tool for a Foredom handle was inspired by a similar tool made by a fellow gunsmith. Took a bit over two hours to print using PETG, a type of filament found to be very resilient while easy to print. There are a variety of polymer types that could be used to print this tool. For example, Nylon. Which is fairly tricky to print, yet could produce a very strong and flexible version. Don’t recommend PLA at this point since it has a brittle characteristic I don’t think would hold up during the constant flexing this type of tool needs to function correctly. Initial testing revealed the hole for the handle should be a bit larger, so did so with the V1 file. Time well tell if PETG is right also, thus far, holds up well.
