It fits into a regular 36 mm (OD) waste pipe with an inner diameter of 31.6 mm.
Intended for air ventilation purposes, not liquids.
I made it a bit loose to ensure it went in without compressing the printed thread. Needed a couple of turns of gaffer tape on the barrel.
Could use glue or sovent for a permanent join, but careful not to get it into the thread.
