This is used to make an eye in the end of bungee cord and comprises two parts - the bones that secure the cord, and a slip-on cover. It can easily be removed, adjusted for size, or reused. There are 3 sizes supplied for 3, 4, and 6mm bungee cord.

To assemble;

Cut the end of the cord and secure the outer braid with a flame

Insert the end of the cord into the small end of the shell and pull some through

The bones has slotted openings on each end, the centered ones are the front and the offset ones are the rear.

Starting at the rear, weave the cord alternatively over and under the sides of the bones leaving just a few mm hanging out the end.

Form the eye and weave the cord back the other side of the bones.

Slide the shell up the cord and wiggle it over the completed eye. it may secured with a drop of CA glue if desired.

The model was created in Onshape and is fully parametric only requiring the diameter of the cord as a parameter input. It can be found here https://cad.onshape.com/documents/27a03f1c4721063164893499/w/197f313af27f83e3d529a386/e/280870df3ea34a7da17f9446
