A lot of times I will have a plate or a pot cover the drain hole, then the water drains slowly or not at all.
I needed a strainer that doesn't clog, even when pots & dishes are in the sink.
This design also 'finds' the drain hole of the sink even if you just toss it in.
The Daisy Drain keeps objects like forks from falling into the garbage disposal.
It doesn't really "strain" small things out of the water, it's purpose is to keep the water flowing.
It will catch chunks of food and dropped objects well.
My family and friends have been testing this for years and they all say it works great!
140 mm is the Standard size. 110 mm is sized for bathrooms or smaller sinks.
Waterproofing PLA is a challenge. Without treatment the Daisy Drain will get moldy and dirty.
I tried Silicone caulk and Epoxy… the results were mixed.
After printing, paint the Daisy Drain with automotive spray enamel.
You don't have to worry about appearance, so give it many thick coats.
