This is a modified version of the locking arm for inside the Klein Modbox 2 Drawer Rolling Toolbox.
When I bought this box, sometimes the handle would unlatch and drop down if I pushed on it the wrong way. I took it apart, and it seemed like a simple enough fix. This version extends the arm 3mm deeper into the handle. Additionally, I recessed the spring instead of using a post as I believe this will be a stronger format for 3d printing.
I take the box in and out of a work van multiple times a day and its held up great after a week, so I'm uploading it now. Let me know how it works out for you!
I've attached some photos that show the basics of replacing these. I'm sure you can figure it out! I would recommend a little bit of grease where pieces slide around, mine was loaded with it when I opened it up.
This is my first time designing built in supports, feel free to ditch them if you have a better way to print. If you use them, make sure the ribbed section is oriented flat on the slicer bed.
I printed with 30% grid infill, 4 walls, Black PETG.
