Custom Keycaps for an alternative or additional keyboard, mainly used for gaming.
For an alternative keyboard custom keycaps were required. Used primarely for gaming, hence the specific symbols. These were collected from the internet as PNG file and transformed into SVG with Inkscape. This is a nice and straight forward example I believe of creating multi-color or multi-material prints (using for example: MK4S & MMU3).
Printing
- No support needed when printed up side down.
- Either PLA or PETG will do, I used the latter.
- Transparant for the main body (in case of LED lighting) and a contrasting color for the symbols.
