Notes

  • The inside and outside wallet shell patterns are provided in two pieces each that dovetail together to allow for printing on smaller print beds.
  • This pattern was tested with 2 oz (0.8 mm) leather.
  • This pattern was created with 4 mm stitching chisels in mind.
  • This pattern is designed for all stitch widths from the edge to be 3 mm.
  • The instructions provided here are simple assembly instructions and do not discuss things such as edge finishing or skiving.
  • The holes in the pattern pieces are to reduce print material.
  • Due to the sharp corners, a brim or glue may be needed to prevent the print from curling.

Pattern Assembly Instructions

Shell_Inside_Left and Shell_Inside_Right are connected to each other with dovetails to form the inside shell pattern.

Likewise, Shell_Outside_Left and Shell_Outside_Right are connected to form the outside shell pattern.
