I love Apple products, but the cable of the MagSafe2 AC adapter is a problem because it quickly becomes frayed. Since Apple does not consider improving it, I made the MagSafe2 AC adapter neck protector.
Print Settings:
- Material: PETG recomend. PLA is a little hard
- Layer height: 0.2mm (We have not tested the height of the other layers.)
- Supports: Need supports. The organic support gives the spiral a nice finish. See gcode file.
Typical amount of filament and printing time:
- It uses only 1.53 g of filament and can be printed in 25m for 0.2mm layer height.
To protect MagSafe2 AC adaptor:
- Insert the cable partway into the spiral groove, move it to the neck of the AC adapter, and then insert the rest of the cable.
Take care of the neck of your MagSafe2 AC adapter.
