Update 17/05/2025 → Introducing alignment guide V2 (MK2)
I just created a new version of the alignment guide that will be easier to print (Mainly for support removal) and the will be easier to insert and remove from your Systainer
the slots of the locking system are longer (See red circles in picture below) and therefore more flexible to handle

-------------------------------------------
Systainers can deformed and damaged when closing them if the lid is not aligned with the box. There is a system that allow to center the lid but it can be improved thanks to this guide. When installing it no more risk to damage your Systainer when closing it.

I design these guides that are compatible with Systainers SYS3 M 137, M 187 and M 237 models. It's also compatible with SYS3 M 112 but not sure guides are needed for such a small Systainer
There aren't compatible with bigger models SYS3 M 337 and M 437 that need bigger guides. You can find relevant model here https://makerworld.com/en/models/945441-lid-guide-to-prevent-damage-on-festool-systainer3#profileId-912836
The model includes the guide locking system that prevents it from moving but allows it to be removed if necessary.

I did several tests to make it stronger enough but easy to remove without breaking it. That's why I recommend to print the guide in the horizontal position and not vertically as in the other model.

So pay attention supports are needed and maybe difficult to remove. Fine tuning is needed depending on used printer and filament
I printed mines on my P1S using Support for PLA filament for support interfaces with AMS. It'll ease support removal (White filament in the pictures below). I guess same can be done with Prusa printers with MMU and soluble support filament

I printed definitive model in Fillament PM PLA YELLOWGREEN that matches exactly the Festool green
Printing recommendations:
- 0.20mm layer height, 3 walls, 20% infill, Supports
Note that .stl file contains only left guide. The right one is done directly in Prusa Slicer using Mirror feature
Warning: This model is only compatible with Systainer SYS3 137, 187, 237 and M112 series. If you have Systainer T-Loc series, use my other model Systainer T-Loc Lid Alignment Guides
As usual, feedback and comments (and for sure "likes") will be always welcome. Downloads will also be greatly appreciated. Feel free to post nice pictures of your makes 😉
