This is an aesthetic base case for the Duender, with inspiration from Voron. It has 2 fan slots in the each of the side skirts, along with some optional fan spacers if you want to use 2 on one side. There are cutouts on the bottom of the legs to glue the original Ender 3 rubber feet, but they have to be cut in half. I have included a step file if you want to remix it.
Electronics mounts for the base case can be found here.
There are 2 versions of the legs, one of them has cutouts for accent colors which are printed separately then glued in, the other has no cutouts for accents if you don't want them, or are able to print them with an AMS or similar. The legs are bolted to the bottom using the stock Ender 3 M5x45 frame bolts. Print the legs upside down. I recommend using 5 or more walls and at least 50% infill for the legs.
You can print the 2 side skirts on an Ender 3 print bed if you rotate them 45 degrees, if you have access to a bed that is 250mm or larger you can print the front and rear skirts in one piece, if not you can print the halved versions, I have not tested those yet but they should work.
The side skirts are designed for 5010 fans, thicker ones will fit but the fan shrouds will protrude. The fan shrouds use M3 heatset inserts. The rear skirt uses M4 nuts and bolts to hold the power switch in place. To attach the skirt pieces to the frame you need some M3x8 bolts as well as some M3 hammer head nuts. Print the skirts on back face.
If you want to have the front Duender logo in a different color without an AMS, you can use your slicer to find the line right before it starts printing the top surface of the logo and add and M0 to change the filament, and repeat right after in finishes the logo. If you haven't already you have to add a Klipper macro to pause at M0, there are a few tutorials on Youtube.
