UPDATE 2025-11-14: Just tried Leedle's own MXL stringer here https://www.printables.com/model/1476070-mega-xl-launcher-attachment and it is SO much better than this. Use that one instead!!
UPDATE 2025-08-08: Slight geometry tweaks for xlBody3B and xlTriggerPin. xlTriggerPin resized to 9.45mm thick, which holds better in the body when using my printer, but YMMV as to how well it holds. Previous thickness was ~9.18mm
UPDATE 2025-08-06: Revised models for the button, body, and slide are now in this listing. I think they are a significant improvement over the initial versions I had included here.
Two body styles are offered – the 3B uses Leedle's original pic mount rail structure, and the 3A uses my own custom one. I feel that 3A will give a tighter fit on pic rail – I get a little bit of wobble with the other. When using 3A, print 2x of the xlPic.stl file. xlPic.stl is not used with 3B.
Leedle's Stringer Mega Masterkey is pretty nice but I find myself needing Mega XL more often than regular Mega anymore.
Hardware required: two m3 x 30mm bolts with nuts
I did an upscaled version of that here https://www.printables.com/model/921438-stringer-mega-xl-mxl-masterkey and that works okay but definitely isn't optimized.
Leedle teased a new MXL stringer masterkey here https://www.youtube.com/shorts/5bvOXFogpuE and it looks fantastic, but there's no indication of when/if this may be made available to the public.
This is a rework which makes the slide much smaller and more manageable. The overall profile of this is significantly more compact.
Print ye two of the “Pic” file.
To-do list for this blaster/attachment is mainly to optimize the slide to have better grip/comfort. Ideally I'd redo it so that the pic rail is on the other side, which would let me redo the slide a bit overall (to be more like the new one Leedle showed off) but that's a lot more work.
