A delightful scene by the edge of the ocean, modeled in virtual reality. Low-poly waves crash up against a craggy cliff face.
This was one of my first VR models, so the model itself has a few issues - namely, there are gaps inside the part I was unable to patch. Fortunately, both my printers were able to handle that with no issues, and the model printed great both times - even without supports!
In case you're interested in picking up a VR Seaside Cliff, but you don't have access to a printer, feel free to pick one up at my shop.
If you'd like to make one using aMULTI MATERIAL PRINTER:
Download both .STL files.
With your slicer of choice (I use PrusaSlicer), import both .STLs, making sure to enable multi-material slicing.
Slice. I was able to achieve good detail as well as great overhang performance using 150 microns as my layer height.
Print. PLA looks and prints great here.
