Originally designed to clamp even the thickest book on a stand to protect them from the wind. In my case a music book when playing outdoor with the trombone choir.

The clamp consists of the two halves and optional TPU rubber tips for even better grip. The rubber tips are available as a cap and as an insert. I recommend the inserts. Use the corresponding clamp parts.

Depending on your preference, the clamp parts are available either with separate inner and outer hinges or as unique piece for both halves. The unique halves are printed separately. In contrast, the inner and outer hinges are printed together in their final position. Use the files that match your layer height. I provided some for 0.15 mm and some for 0.20 mm layers.

Print the halves with support. Any material is suitable.

Print the rubber tips in TPU. If you put several tips on the plate, print in sequence per object.

I use the spring from a 2-inch spring clamp. E.g., https://www.amazon.de/Federklemmen-Hochleistungs-Einhandzwinge-Holzbearbeitung-Fotohintergrund/dp/B09KTNHDXX

Shorten both ends by about 10 mm and bend them at a right angle by 3 mm.

Get the spring in place, press the clamp parts together, and put a 16 x 3 mm screw in. Secure it with a nut.
