The purpose of your product is to enhance the functionality of a squeegee by allowing it to clean hard-to-reach, lower areas of glass surfaces—like balcony glass—that are typically difficult to wipe with traditional squeegees.

This innovative design assists in effective water removal, ensuring effortless cleaning where a regular squeegee might fall short due to its limited reach.

BOM:

  • Staff: diameter: 22.00 mm
  • Ikea Squeegee: LILLNAGGEN
  • M4 35 mm + 40 mm + (optional 15-26mm) wood screw

instructions:

  1. cut the squeegee at where it starts to bend (You will need to 2 cm of its “neck”)
  2. wrap the inlets around the neck. Optionally use a heat gun to temporarily secure them to the squeegee neck
  3. use the holes in the inlet as a guide to drill 2 holes through the squeegee neck
  4. slot this unit into the “body” of the squeazy low reach
  5. Use a drill to pre-drill 2 holes into the broom stick/staff using the previous 2 holes as guide.
  6. screw 2 wood screws into these holes to secure the 3d model, squeege and stick.
  7. optinally, screw a wood/machine screw at the bottom of the squeazy body to further ensure it won’t fall off during operation. has not been needed in my tests, but the option is there nevertheless

This model is the 4th revision of several prototypes of similar concepts
