Stackable wet palette.

A wet palette for use with acrylic paints and painting miniatures
203x203mm wet palette
printed on an Ender3 V3 KE - but should fit most printers
Uses 6mm x 3mm cylindrical magnets to clamp palette in place
Magnets are optional if you're not stacking multiple palettes

Files include:

  • 1 Lid
  •  1 Frame/clamp
  •  1 Frame/clamp with dividers for paints
  •  1 brush caddy (store your brushes underneath the palette when done for the day
  • 1 Base (200x200mm)

 To use:

  • Cut paper towels and  Baking paper to size
  •  put 3-4 layers of paper towelss on the base and soak in water. The towels should be fully wet but the water shouldn't spill over the base
  • put the baking paper over the paper towels and smooth the top over
  • Use either frame to clamp the edges of the paper towels and baking paper into place
  • Enjoy painting!

To stack:

Print as many sets of bases and frames as you want. Each base+frame should magnetize over another set of base and frame and act as the lid provided you're using magnets (6x3mm cylindrical neodymium magnets )

e.g.: A 3 stack wet palette needs:
1 Brush Caddy (optional)
3 Frames
3 Bases
1 Lid

Smaller magnets?

If you have smaller magnets you can glue them into place or  print a small  ring  with your slicer that's 6mm in diameter and 3mm tall. the hole in the ring should be the same size as your magnet.
each part needs 4 magnets save for the lid which is just a friction fit
