This magnetic chamfer jig is designed to attach securely to a small block plane using embedded magnets, making it easy to cut consistent chamfers every time. Ideal for woodworking tasks requiring clean, repeatable edge bevels.

It was originally sized for a plane 90×40mm with a blade width of 35mm, and magnets 12mm diameter × 3mm thick. I have a 3mm jig for putting a nice strong chamfer on something and a 1mm jig for just taking off a hard edge — I have uploaded a 2mm jig as a nice middleground.

All dimensions are fully customizable - including your plane size the size of your desired chamfer - via the included STEP file.

No supports needed. Sits flush and firmly on the plane without the need for screws or clips. The jig itself is easily assembled with some small wood screws.
