Create a hourglass using 2 bottles and these components for a simple school project. Model is created for bottles with 33mm inner diameter opening/neck.
- Glue together the 2 parts of the funnel, best result is to use a 0.8mm/1mm diameter needle or drill bit through the holes to guide the positions.
- Adjust the holes for the "filling material" before printing or after the printing using a drill bit.
- Measure the running time of the hourglass by adding the “filling material” and stopwatch the time.
- Glue on the lids, to the lower parts of the bottles. Don't glue the funnel yet.
- Fill one of the bottles with the measured “filling material”.
- Glue together the 2 bottles and the 2 sides of the funnel.
Happy printing. :)
