Not everyone has hands that work -- so here's a mouse for your foot. This design offers an alternative for those who can’t use traditional mice, by turning foot motion into precise input.
⚠ Note: I don’t own a HyperX mouse, so this hasn’t been personally tested. Use at your own discretion.
🔧 Design Highlights:
- All components are grafted on to the example provided by HyperX, so compatibility should be seamless.
- Enlarged side buttons are positioned for easy activation with your opposite foot.
- The toe-controlled scroll wheel uses interlocking nubs to mesh with the original scroll wheel like gears. Print it separately and snap it into place between the toe-button mounts — expect a snug fit.
- Due to the mechanical setup, the scroll direction is reversed (scrolling down = scrolls up). This can likely be corrected via software settings.
- Overall length (heel to toe) is approx. 261 mm.
🛠 To do:
- Add more heel sizes.
- Fix minor geometry issues.
- Add durable latch mechanism for side buttons.
- Add radial bearing to toe-scroll wheel.
- Optimize all parts for easier 3D printing.
