This is my set of remixed files (so far) for Distinct's excellent Stenny foam dart blaster.  The differences for these new parts are detailed below.

  • 2025-06-14 update: the front receiver cover now has two holes for the (decorative) firing pin.  This is to make it more friendly for being able to be flipped for left-handers or right-handers.
  • The front receiver cover has had a wider slot added to account for Worker Talon magazine feed lips being wider than the body of the mag.  You could technically use Talons before, but it was a little tight inserting or removing the feed lips.
  • The battery door and rear receiver have been modified to allow the use of a heatset insert (in the receiver) and a thumbscrew, in order to better secure the battery door.  The door holds relatively well with friction in my own builds, but a friend built some and had problems with the battery door staying on.  This was simple enough to add.
  • The main thrust of my modifications is the joint between the front and rear receivers.  For the first Stenny I built, unfortunately broke in shipping.  The faux firing pin/bolt was one of two joints between front and rear, but the overlap of material was really small/narrow.  This new iteration of the design has much stronger overlapping parts so I am hopeful there will be no more breaks!  Additionally, the faux firing pin is now an optional cosmetic only, rather than being a joint between the parts.
